There are two important reasons unless you file E-nomination, you cannot apply for retirement pension No. 2 it's a good practice touchwood you may not get anything but if it happens and your E - nomination is not filed then your family and children may find it very difficult to get PF amount and pension amount. So this is a small process that you should do immediately.

How you can file your E-Nomination in EPFO?
Some things you need to know before filing an E - An nomination, First of all, keep in mind that you can file multiple nominees. Whether you can make your wife and son or daughter a nominee You will need some details of the people whom you want to make a nominee.
First of all, you will need their Aadhar card, and their bank details which should contain the account number and IFSC code third their photo will be required in digital format.
If you work through a laptop then you need their photo on your laptop if not on mobile.
You also keep in mind that the size of the photo must be less than 100kb.
If the size of the photo is bigger than100kb then it will show an error.
At the end of this article, I will also teach you how you can reduce the size of the photo.
Number 2nd If you are filing your own nomination then you will also need some things, First of all, you will need to make the virtual ID of your Aadhaar Virtual ID
I will teach you this at the end of this article. Apart from this, the KYC of your Aadhaar should be complete. And you will also need your mobile number linked with Aadhaar.
So first you arrange all these things After arranging login into your PF member portal.
After login to the member portal, you go to the E-Nomination section in the manage In E-Nomination you will be asked about Family Declaration, on that you have to click on Yes
If you have not already filed a nomination, then it will appear blank as you see on this screen.
You can also file an additional nomination if you have already filed a nomination. So if you click yes on having a family.
On this screen, you have to upload the Aadhar number, Name, DOB, Gender, Relation, Address, and IFSC code.
When you fill in the IFSC code here, these bank details will be filled in automatically.
In the last, you fill in the correct account number, If you have entered the age of less than 18 on the date of birth, then you can also add a guardian here.
Now click on upload photo here, and you will see some conditions in it First of all the condition is that your photo should be in digital format i.e. laptop or mobile.
Number 2nd the typical size of the photo is given as 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.
This is also a typical passport-size photo, Which if you take a photo of then your work will be done very comfortably. In fact, even if this file size is not accurate, there is no problem.
Now try to browse and upload this photo If this photo is more than 100kb then this kind of error will show up But if you reduce the size of your photo, then this photo will be uploaded very easily.
This photo can also be adjusted by using the bar below. After clicking here you will click on the preview and then you will click on upload photograph then this photograph will be uploaded.
If you want to file more than one nomination then click on Add New here you can file multiple nominations, once you fill in the details of the nominee, you click on save family details. Once you add this nominee, then you will see this nominee below, you select the nominee, And how much percentage of your PF has to be given to that nominee, fill that.
Note if you are putting multiple nominees here i.e. 2 - 3 And if you want to give 50 percent to someone else 25-25 percent, then in this way you can fill it. But the sum total of all percentages should be 100%. After filling this value here, click on Save PF Nomination
After clicking on the Save PF nomination screen hangs several times and you may have to log in again. Once you save the nomination, again go to the manage section and go to KYC you will see your nomination here and on which date you have made this nomination.
If you click on the view button then you can download the pdf, If you click on the edit button then again this screen will open if you want to update some details then you can.
How can you verify it using your E-sign?
If you have checked all the details, then click on the E Sign option, By clicking on the E Sign option, you will see this screen.
It is written on the screen that you want to do your E-KYC using Aadhaar. After clicking on this check box, your next screen will appear.
Here you have to enter your Aadhaar Virtual ID if you do not know how to create a virtual ID, then in a while, we will learn that too.
After entering the virtual ID, you will get a 6-digit OTP to enter OTP here and tick below "I have read the conditions" and click on submit, your E KYC is completed.
After this, you may get logged out from the PF site again.
Now again when you log in to the PF's site and see, you will find that your E-KYC has been completed there. And you can see the nomination to be successful.
If you want to add another KYC again or also want to edit KYC in the future So if you click on enter new nomination then the same process will start again You will be asked "Having a family", so you can add by clicking on Yes or No.
Now first of all let's learn how you can generate a Virtual ID with your Aadhar So for a Virtual ID, you have to go to UID's website uidai.gov.in
In this, you will get an option under Aadhaar Services Virtual ID generator After clicking on it you will see this screen.
On this screen, you have to fill in your Aadhar number, and captcha and click on Get OTP
Then an OTP will come on your Aadhaar number, you have to add this OTP after adding OTP, you will be asked 2 options below Generate Virtual ID or retrieve VID i.e.
if you have already created a Virtual ID And then we want to get it back or Virtual ID is lost
then you can click on retrieve Virtual ID Otherwise,
How To Create Aadhar Virtual ID For EPFO E-Nomination?
you can create your new Virtual ID by clicking Generate VID If you have entered the correct OTP then the final screen will appear.
"Your Virtual ID is sent to your registered mobile number" And you will get a 16-digit Virtual ID on your mobile number.
You can file your E-nomination by using this virtual ID. If you want to compress the photo, then you have to go to the internet.
How To Compress Photo For EPFO E-Nomination File?
All the websites will be found if you simply search for Photo Compressor. You are getting many websites of Photo Compressor Click on any of these websites, and here the option of the select photo will come.
You select the photo, reduce its size, reduce the quality And download it and see if it is less than 100 kb.
if so then it is a good thing if not then by compressing it again you Can get images of less than 100kb.
